Dr. Mark Morgan
Professor of Food Engineering & Extension Specialist, University of Tennessee
Dr. Morgan joined UT in 2013 after 21 years at Purdue University. A process engineer with extensive experience in thermal and aseptic food processing, hygienic design, and food sanitation, he supports processors and food entrepreneurs in meeting FDA regulations for acidified foods. His research explores chlorine dioxide and ozone gas sanitization—innovations that ensure safer, cleaner food production environments.
Elizabeth Elizondo Renfro
Family & Consumer Science Extension Agent, Washington County
Elizabeth brings practical expertise in food safety and home preservation, empowering families and communities to make informed, sustainable choices in the kitchen.
